Greetings, friends
Ira
I will try to be very brief, but what I have to say is very important, so please bear with me.
Last week, my partner and I visited and volunteered at the Bashan Kennels, run by just one, amazing woman called Janet Hansen. She has been saving animals for around 20 years.
She is presently looking after about 200 dogs and 50 cats, at her animal shelter in the Upper Galilee.
Janet looks after them all, with devotion and a high standard of care. Most of the economic burden falls on her shoulders. She gets only a small amount from donations of food
by a variety of organizations. Recently Janet was fired from her job, and she is now worried sick about what will happen to the dogs and cats since the kennels are in a very serious financial situation.

We are sending out a distress call to anyone who can open their hearts and their wallets for these animals. If you can make a monthly donation, however small, this can be critical for a project that eases the suffering of some 250 helpless creatures. If donors are not found, the animals in Janet’s shelter will be in a terrible situation!
Please help Janet continue to help them. Give whatever you can, and if possible, adopt a real friend!
Please forward this message to everyone you know as well!
How can you help?
* Volunteers will be welcomed warmly to help with the day-to-day operations of the shelter, any day of the week.
* Blankets, old dog houses, and tuff (to lay down to deal with mud in the winter), and donations of food will be warmly accepted.
if everybody helps with something, together we can help this wonderful woman continue to save and provide hope to many other good souls!
Thank you on my behalf and on behalf of all those good souls whom Janet helps.
